Project Overview
The Imperial War Museum, one of our clients, recently unveiled an elegant one-storey glass and steel pavilion with a rooftop bar that is proving particularly popular with the local businesses' office workers.
The building contains retail space, admissions control for the ship, a ‘baristo’ style café and a rooftop bar with amazing views towards Tower Bridge, the Lord Mayor’s Office and the City of London.
This visitor centre for HMS Belfast greatly expands the landside facilities of this historic visitor attraction; it is located between the riverbank and the ship, sitting on an existing platform that stands on stilts in the Thames. Located in the heart of one of the most popular tourist and historical destinations in London, the building improves the connection between the ship and the Queen's Walk riverfront while also bringing in extra revenue from its shop space.
