Project Overview
Dunelm’s new headquarters is designed to meet the ongoing needs of the rapidly expanding retailer which has 140 stores across the UK.
We worked closely with Dunelm to design and develop the headquarters to provide excellent working conditions for the staff, whilst achieving very low future energy costs.
Following research into BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), the design team recommended that Dunelm focus on achieving ‘excellent’ ratings under two particular sections of BREEAM: energy use, and health and wellbeing.
