CPMG has been carbon neutral since 2017 but even so we are committed to further reducing the environmental impact of our own activities.

As a signatory to the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge, we are playing our part in addressing the global climate crisis by committing to designing buildings that minimise environmental impact and adopting targets that include a minimum 60% reduction in absolute operational energy demand, and 40% reductions in both the embodied carbon of buildings, and their potable water consumption.

CPMG has been carbon neutral since 2017 but even so we are committed to further reducing the environmental impact of our own activities; we are doing this with ongoing monitoring and reduction of our carbon emissions and targeted investments such as moving to our new Nottingham Headquarters. Our initiatives have enabled us to halve our carbon footprint, before offsetting, since 2017.

CPMG has signed up to the SME Climate Hub which is affiliated with the UN Race to Zero framework; this requires us to halve again our absolute carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2050 at the latest and to tell you every year about our progress. We have pledged to do better still and achieve net zero by 2040, and we are currently working with Nottingham Trent University Business School on our roadmap to achieving this goal.
